Principal

My name is Ricky Anderson, and I will be the new principal at Cabazon Elementary School for the 2022-2023 school year. I am excited to work alongside the excellent staff, students, and parents here in Cabazon. During my first few days in the summer, I was impressed with the facilities and the beautiful school we have here for our DINO-mite students!

This year will be my 21st year in education. During that time, I was in Rialto, Redlands, Coachella, and Lucerne Valley as a teacher, instructional coach, and administrator. What impresses me most about Banning Unified School District is the diversity and it being a small district. My mission is to enhance classroom instruction and boost student wellness and achievement in my time at the elementary site. I believe this mission can happen with a strong connection between staff, students, and parents. When all those components are given 100% effort, anything is possible.
