What does a School Counselor Do?

Meeting the diverse needs of all of our students is the most important. My School Counseling Program focuses on three specific areas: social-emotional learning, college/career awareness and academics. All three areas are specific to the needs of every student. The role of a counselor is to support students, families, and staff. This means the counselor is here to support and assist with any needs for the student or the family. This can be done through short-term individual counseling, group counseling or providing outside resources.

For more information on all that your school counselor does, please check out my counseling corner website to learn more on how to access my services, more in depth information about the services I provide and overall what I do to support you all!

Thank you!
